What are typical lead times for a mechanical design project?

1 to 2 weeks for the brief and system architecture, 4 to 8 weeks for detailed design and simulations, 2 to 4 weeks for prototyping and functional testing. We adapt the schedule to the maturity of your project.

Can you produce the mechanical prototypes?

Yes. Our 500 m² Fab Lab in Sillingy is equipped with SLS/SLA/FDM 3D printing, machining and assembly capabilities. The same team that designs the part also builds and validates the prototype - no information loss, no middleman.

Do you provide strength analysis or FEA studies?

Yes, our engineers run analytical calculations and finite element simulations (FEA) to validate mechanical strength, deformation and durability of your parts. These analyses are built into the design process from the start - reducing costly iterations on prototypes.

Can you support us up to industrialization?

Yes, we prepare complete technical files (drawings, BOMs, tolerances) and handle the handoff to our partners for injection molding, sheet metal or machining. Our internal manufacturing unit can also produce your first runs of 10 to 500 units without changing contact person.

How do you handle confidentiality and intellectual property?

We systematically sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before any technical exchange. We can contractually define IP transfer on deliverables: drawings, 3D models, firmware, industrial documentation.

Do we need a complete specification to get started?

No. We can start from a concept, a functional need or even an unformalized idea. We help you structure the specifications, identify usage constraints and define the product architecture from the very first working sessions.
