Data controller
AQ-Tech SASU, with registered office at 180 route des prés rollier, ZAC de Bromines, 74330 Sillingy (France), is the controller of the personal data processed on the website www.aq-tech.fr.
Purposes of processing
Your personal data may be collected and processed by AQ-Tech through the website solely for the following purposes:
- Contact: to reply to your request sent via the contact form.
- Anonymous audience measurement: to understand how the site is used (page views, referrals, country) via an in-house tool, with no cookie and no transfer to any third party.
No advertising, no commercial targeting. AQ-Tech does not display any advertising, does not engage in any ad retargeting, and does not sell or share your data for commercial or marketing purposes. The website sets no advertising or third-party audience-measurement cookies.
Social networks
The website contains a link to our LinkedIn page. No LinkedIn pixel or advertising cookie is set on aq-tech.fr; you are only tracked by LinkedIn if you click on that link and access their platform, subject to their own terms.
Retention period of personal data and legal basis
AQ-Tech keeps your personal data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purposes pursued, as detailed below:

We may retain your data for longer than indicated above where required by law or regulation.
Cookies
The website www.aq-tech.fr sets no audience-measurement, advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party service (Google Analytics, etc.) is loaded. Accordingly, no consent banner is required.
- Strictly necessary technical cookie:
PHPSESSID, used for the browsing session. Set without consent as it is essential to the operation of the site, it is deleted when the browser is closed.
Audience measurement
To understand how our website is used, we rely on an in-house measurement tool we developed ourselves, designed to respect your privacy:
- No cookie is set for this measurement.
- Your IP address is never stored: during your visit only, it is used to determine your country and to generate an anonymous, non-reversible identifier that is renewed every day — it cannot be used to track you from one day to the next, nor to re-identify you.
- No data is sent to any third party: everything is processed on our own server. The IP-to-country lookup is performed locally, without any external service call.
- The information collected (page viewed, referral, country, device type, browser, language, date and time) is aggregated, anonymous and kept for 13 months maximum.
As this is a strictly anonymous audience measurement, limited to our single website and with no cross-referencing with third parties, it is exempt from consent in line with the French data protection authority (CNIL) guidelines: no cookie banner is therefore required.
Geolocation: this site includes IP2Location LITE data available from https://lite.ip2location.com.
Recipients of your data
The recipients of your personal data are:
- Authorised staff within AQ-Tech in charge of processing your data — they only access the data strictly necessary for their duties.
- Our subcontractors handling, on behalf of AQ-Tech, the management of your data — in particular for hosting, newsletter delivery and application maintenance.
Security of your data
AQ-Tech implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your personal data: HTTPS encryption of the site, restricted access to data, regular backups and training of authorised staff. Since no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% reliable, however, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and remedies
You have a right of access to your personal data, a right to rectification and erasure. You also have the right to restrict processing, a right to data portability and a right to object, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You also have the right to set instructions regarding the retention, erasure and communication of your personal data after your death, in accordance with Article 85 of the French Data Protection Act.
